What is the best way to apply a decal?

The best way to apply a decal is using a squeegee, but a credit card will work also. Take the decal and lay it on a flat surface and apply pressure with the squeegee or credit card and go over the entire decal to make sure it is adhere to the transfer tape. Then pull the backing off slowly. Once the decal is off the backing it can be applied to almost any surface depending on the media chosen.

What is the best temperature to apply decals?

It is advised to apply decals once the temperature is above 65 degrees.

What size decal should I get?

Decals from the store come in 6, 8 and 10 inches. Custom sizes may be ordered by contacting us. Your email will soon be returned with a quote.

Do the decals have a background?

All decals are cut from high quality vinyl. They are not outlined and they do not have a background, the background becomes the color of the object you apply the decal to. The most common color is white because most windows have a little tint. Once applied the decal appears white and black when the black is really your window.

How long will the decals last?

Under normal conditions a decal offers 6 years of outdoor durability

How do I apply a decal from the inside of my car to face outside correctly?

Decals as they come are for outdoor application. To apply a decal on the inside of your car facing out you must order it in reverse/mirror.

Will my windshield wipers affect the decals?

They will not, they will slide right over the decals.

How do I remove the decals?

The decals are considered permanent buy may be removed with a razor blade, preferably with a handle. Applying heat using a hair dryer or heat gun also helps the process, but is not necessary

I want to add custom text to a decal ho w can I do that?

Custom text may be added to any design within the Decal Shop.

How was my decal shipped?

All decals are shipped out by USPS either first class mail or priority mail.

When will my decal arrive?

The decals are processed right away most of the time we have the decals shipped out next day and shipping takes 3 - 5 days. With holidays it could be little longer.

I want a custom decal how much more are custom decals?

Custom decals may be ordered in any size. Contact us with your specification of any stock or custom image and we will return your email with a quote for the work specified.
